Two unprecedented N-containing polyketide derivatives, dindygulerinone A and B, together with three known polyketides, have been isolated from the whole plant of Peperomia dindygulensis. The new structures were elucidated as (–)-(4S)-2-[(Z)-1'-aminooctadec-11'-enylidene]-4-hydroxycyclohexane-1,3-dione (1) and 2-[(Z)-1'-aminooctadec-11'-enylidene]-cyclohexane-1,3-dione (2), respectively, by comparing with literature data and extensive spectroscopic methods, including 2D NMR and CD spectroscopic analysis.
