Left atrial myxoma with neovascularization: detected on cardiac computed tomography angiography

Abstract

Two patients with a left atrial mass underwent preoperative cardiac computed tomography angiography (CCTA) to rule out coronary artery disease. CCTA revealed an anomalous tortuous vascular structure originating from the coronary artery to the left atrial tumor suggestive of neovascularization. Preoperative CCTA was useful for coronary artery evaluation and provided additional information regarding a large supplying vessel.
