The principle of action of a dynamic tonometer for measuring intraocular pressure is considered. It is based on monitoring of the oscillation period of the dynamic system of tonometer elements and the eye. A model of the tonometer-eye oscillation system is presented. The effect of eye elements (eyelid and cornea) on the oscillation period of the system is considered. An example of practical implementation of this system is given.
