The operating characteristics and parameters of the experimental IRT MIFI facilities at the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MIFI) for a core with IRT-3M fuel assemblies with high- and low-enrichment uranium fuel are examined. The change of the parameters of horizontal neutron beams for neutron therapy and fuel consumption on conversion to low-enrichment fuel is estimated.
