Abstract

Bianchi type-I cosmological model containing perfect fluid with quadratic equation of state has been studied in general theory of relativity. The general solutions of the Einstein’s field equations for Bianchi type-I space-time have been obtained under the assumption of quadratic equation of state (EoS) p=αρ 2ρ, where α is constant and strictly α≠0. The physical and geometrical aspects of the model are discussed.
