Voraussetzung für Überlegungen zum Unfallzusammenhang einer Kniescheibenverrenkung ist die richtige Diagnose. Die Kniescheibenverrenkung muss im Vollbeweis gesichert sein. Ist die Diagnose gesichert, ist das damit verbundene Schadensbild dennoch kein Indiz für eine unfallbedingte Genese. Das Schadensbild ist Folge der Verrenkung und bezüglich der Ursachen der Kniescheibenverrenkung nur von nachrangigem Aussagewert. Maßgeblich für die Beantwortung der Zusammenhangsfrage ist der Ablauf der als ursächlich zu diskutierenden versicherten Tätigkeit, der unphysiologische, unkoordinierte Ursachenbeitrag aus dem versicherten Bereich (Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung).

Abstract

Any consideration of the causal connections between a patellar dislocation and an accident must be based on the correct diagnosis. The kneecap dislocation must be confirmed beyond all doubt. Even when the diagnosis is confirmed, the debility involved is still not necessarily indicative of an origin in the accident. The debility is a consequence of the dislocation and has only a lesser predictive value. The course of the occupation in which the person affected is insured must be discussed with reference to the causation and is of paramount importance for solving the problem of causal connection, as is the unphysiological and uncoordinated contribution to the causality from the area covered by insurance (industrial accident insurance).
