Abstract
A summary of chromosome numbers has been prepared for the Brassicaceae (Cruciferae) family. Over 9000 chromosome counts have been compiled from the literature. Chromosome numbers are known from 232 of the 338 (68.6%) genera and 1558 of the 3709 (42.0%) of the species in the family. Counts in the excel database have been arranged according to currently accepted taxonomy, and includes for each count, country of origin and reference citation.
