Abstract.
We discuss the principle and performance of a new cold-neutron bender using sequential garland reflections in order to bend a neutron beam with a large divergence to a large angle. Using this bender for a pulsed neutron source, we can distribute cold neutrons or polarized cold neutrons if necessary to plural spectrometers at a cold-neutron-guide tube to avoid the frame-overlap problem of cold neutrons.
