Zusammenfassung

Epitheliale Tumoren vom ovariellen Typ im Hoden sind sehr selten und stellen in der Diagnostik deshalb meist einen überraschenden Befund dar. Ebenso wie die morphologisch identischen, namensgebenden Tumoren im Ovar bilden sie häufig zystische Strukturen aus. Bei primär zystischen Raumforderungen des Hodens müssen diese Entitäten deshalb differenzialdiagnostisch in Betracht gezogen werden. Dabei stellt der endometrioide Typ, hier im vorliegenden Fall bei einem 73-jährigen Patienten, eine absolute Rarität dar.

Abstract

Ovarian type surface epithelial carcinomas of the testis are rare and therefore mostly represent a surprising finding in diagnostic procedures. The most frequent is the serous subtype, while only a few cases of the endometrioid subtype have been reported in the literature. The case of a 73-year-old patient with an endometrioid type papillary cystic tumor of borderline malignancy is presented. The histopathological and immunohistochemical details of this rare tumor are discussed.
