Abstract
Methods of implementing Bose-Einstein interference effects used in Monte Carlo codes are shortly discussed. The method used in JETSET is analyzed in detail; some of its drawbacks are indicated, and possible improvements are considered. General limitations of this approach are shown suggesting the necessity of other investigations.
