Conclusion

Spiral CT represents an excellent noninvasive technique for acquiring data to create 3-D angiographic maps of the aorta. Coupling the data sets with 3-D imaging provides new and exciting capabilities for aortic imaging in a potentially more correct and accurate fashion.
