A Ten-Year Experience Using Polyurethane-Covered Breast Implants

Abstract.

The purpose of this study is to disclose the low incidence (0.98%) of capsular contracture using polyurethane-covered silicone gel breast implants. Four hundred seven surgical interventions were performed during the 10-year period, 404 for hypomastia and 3 for breast reconstruction.
