Abstract:

We construct irreducible modules V α (α∈ℂ) over the \( algebra with central charge c=− 2 in terms of a free bosonic field. We prove that these modules exhaust all the irreducible modules of the \( algebra with c=− 1. Highest weights of modules \( \( with respect to the full (two-dimensional) Cartan subalgebra of the \( algebra are \(. They are parametrized by points (t, w) on a rational curve \( Irreducible modules of the vertex algebra \( with c=− 1 are also classified.
