Minimally invasive intraoperative CT-guided correction of calcaneal osteosynthesis

Summary

This article describes the CT-guided osteosynthesis of calcaneus fractures. This procedure is minimal invasive and offers the opportunity to reduce and to stabilize such fractures very exactly under intraoperative CT-controll only by stab-incisions. A running study will define the ranking of this method.

Zusammenfassung

Anhand einer Kasuistik wird in dem vorliegenden Artikel die CT-gesteuerte Kalkaneusosteosynthese vorgestellt. Es handelt sich dabei um ein minimal-invasives Operationsverfahren, bei dem die intraoperative Computertomographie (CT) die Möglichkeit bietet Kalkaneusfrakturen mit hoher Präzision über Stichinzisionen zu reponieren und zu stabilisieren. Der Stellenwert dieses Verfahrens wird derzeit im Rahmen einer prospektiven Untersuchung geklärt.
