Zusammenfassung

Ziel

Die Zufriedenheit der Eltern mit ihrer Paarbeziehung in Familien mit einem Kind/Jugendlichen mit primären Kopfschmerzen (diagnostiziert nach IHS-Kriterien) (n=39) wurde mit einer Kontrollgruppe aus Familien mit Kindern/Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen ohne primäre Kopfschmerzen (n=33) verglichen.

Methode

Als Instrument wurde in dieser Fragebogenstudie der ZIP ("Zufriedenheit in Paarbeziehungen") von Hassebrauck (1991) eingesetzt.

Ergebnisse

Sowohl Mütter als auch Väter in der Kopfschmerzstichprobe zeigten sich signifikant unzufriedener mit ihrer Paarbeziehung als Mütter und Väter in der Nichtkopfschmerzstichprobe [einseitige t-Testung p≤0,05 bei t=1,75 (Mütter); p≤0,05 bei t=1,90 (Väter)]. Die Resultate werden anhand zweier Kasuistiken illustriert.

Abstract

Objective

Satisfaction of parents with their relationship in families with a child/adolescent with primary headache (diagnosed according IHS criteria) (n=39) was compared with a control group of families with children/adolescents and parents without primary headache (n=33).

Methods

Satisfaction in the parental relationship was measured by a self-report questionnaire ZIP "Zufriedenheit in der Partnerschaft" according to Hassebrauck (1991), which is the German version of the "relationship assessment scale" according to Hendrick (1988).

Results

Fathers and mothers of families with a child/adolescent with primary headache reported statistically significantly lower satisfaction with their close relationships than fathers and mothers of families without primary headache [t-test: p≤0.05 at t=1.75 (mothers); p≤0.05 at t=1.90 (fathers)]. The results are illustrated by two case reports.
