In den vergangenen Jahren hat die Sekundärnutzung von Abrechnungsdaten der Krankenkassen für Zwecke der Versorgungsforschung und Qualitätssicherung zunehmend Aufmerksamkeit erzeugt. Auch im Zusammenhang mit der Diagnose und Behandlung eines Prostatakarzinoms haben diese Daten ein großes Potenzial.
