Zusammenfassung

Kardiovaskuläre Erkrankungen und erektile Dysfunktion hängen unmittelbar zusammen. So ist eine erektile Dysfunktion sowohl für die vaskuläre Sterblichkeit als auch für einen Herzinfarkt prädiktiv, bei kardialen Risikopatienten nimmt hingegen die sexuelle Aktivität ab. In beiden Fällen muss der behandelnde Arzt den Patienten über (nicht) bestehende Risiken aufklären.
