Pupillometrische Untersuchungen auf Schläfrigkeit bei Berufskraftfahrern

Pupillometric examinations for sleepiness on professional drivers

Examens pupillométriques de la somnolence chez les chauffeurs professionnels

Zusammenfassung

In einer gemeinsamen Studie des Landes Oberösterreich und des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie wurden zwischen September 2005 und August 2006 im Bundesland Oberösterreich bzw.–als Vergleichs-gruppe–in den Bundesländern Steiermark, Kärnten und Salzburg 1.180 LKW- und Buslenker mittels Pupillometrie auf Schläfigkeit getestet.

Die Ergebnisse zeigen folgendes Bild:

  • 30,9 Prozent der Probanden hatten grenzwertige und 22,3 Prozent pathologische Messdaten. 53,2 Prozent der beobachteten Lenker waren damit nicht mehr oder nur mehr bedingt fahrtauglich.

  • Die bedenklichsten Werte wurden zu den Zeiten des chronobiologischen Tiefs (01:00h bis 03:00h bzw. 13:00h bis 15:00h Uhr) ermittelt; zusätzlich wurde erstmal aber auch ein Tief um 11:00 Uhr festgestellt.

  • Buslenker hatten im Allgemeinen bessere Werte als LKW-Fahrer.

  • Jüngere männliche Fahrer waren im Durchschnitt müder als das Vergleichskollektiv.

  • Die Nationalität spielte keine Rolle. In- und ausländische Fahrer waren gleichermaßen von Müdigkeit betroffen.

  • Es wurde ein eigener „Pausenfaktor“ entwickelt, um die Relation zwischen gesamter Fahrtdauer und Dauer der Pausen besser darstellen zu können.
