Abstract
In this paper a method for the determination of the sensitivity distribution of photocathodes is described. The purpose of the investigations was to overcome the difficulties experienced in reproducing measurements carried out by means of photocells or photomultipliers. The variation of the cathode sensitivity in photomultipliers is determined as a function of location on cathode and of direction of incident light.
