Die Conodonten der mediterranen Trias und ihr stratigraphischer Wert

Zusammenfassung

In der mediterranen Trias sind Conodonten bis zum Obernor weit verbreitet. Die gegenüber dem Paläozoikum geringere Artenzahl erlaubt zu erkennen, welche Conodonten zu einer natürliche Conodontidenart gehören könnten. Senile Merkmale und starke Variabilität der jüngsten gefundenen Conodonten und das gänzliche Fehlen von Conodonten im Rhät, Jura und in der Kreide der Alpen zeigen an, daß die Tethys-Conodonten im Obernor ausgestorben sein müssen.
