Zusammenfassung

In den Wohnkammern von zehn Exemplaren vonEleganticeras elegantulum (Y. & B., 1828) aus Ahrensburger Liasknollen (Unt. Toarcium) wurden Reste von Tintenbeuteln gefunden, teilweise noch mit Tintensubstanz. Form und relative Größe der Tintenbeutel entsprechen etwa denen vonLoligo und den rezenten Octopoden.

Abstract

Ink-sacs were discovered within the living-chambers of ten specimens ofEleganticeras elegantulum (Y. & B., 1828) from glacial drift material of Toarcian age, found in the vicinity of Hamburg (so-called Ahrensburger Liasknollen). Some of them still contain ink. Shape and relative size of the ink-sacs are similar to those ofLoligo and the recent octopuses.

Résumé

Des poches à encre ont été découverts dans les loges d'habitation de plusieurs exemplaires d'Eleganticeras elegantulum (Y. & B., 1828) du Toarcien inférieure, trouvés dans des nodules erratiques glaciaires à Ahrensburg près d'Hamburg. La forme et la grandeur relative des poches à encre correspondent à ceux deLoligo et des Octopodes récents. La plupart d'eux contient encore de la substance d'encre.
