Abstract

Description of a new species of fossil mayflies:Misthodotes stapfi n. sp. (Permoplectoptera: Misthodotidae) from the Upper Jeckenbach layers, Lower Permian, near Jeckenbach (Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany). Comparison with the 5 species of this genus known from North America and the 2 species from Europe and West Siberia.

Beschreibung einer neuen fossilen EintagsfliegeMisthodotes stapfi n. sp. aus den Oberen Jeckenbacher Schichten, Rotliegendes, bei Jeckenbach (Kreis Bad Kreuznach, Rheinland-Pfalz, Bundesrepublik Deutschland). Vergleich mit den bisher 5 aus Nordamerika und 2 aus Europa und Westsibirien bekannten Arten der GattungMisthodotes.
