Bemerkungen zu einem Neufund vonWeigeltisaurus jaekeli (Weigelt) im nordhessischen Kupferschiefer

Abstract

A new found specimen ofWeigeltisaurus jaekeli (Weigelt) in the Kupferschiefer of North Hesse (Upper Permian) informs about the body-proportions of this gliding reptile. The anatomical relations between the axial sceleton and the elongated »ribs« of the gliding membrane are discussed.

Kurzfassung

Ein Neufund vonWeigeltisaurus jaekeli (Weigelt) im nordhessischen Kupferschiefer (Oberperm) gibt Hinweise auf die Körperproportionen dieses Gleitflugreptils. Die anatomischen Bezie-hungen zwischen dem Achsenskelett und den die Flughaut tragenden »Rippen« werden diskutiert.
