Auch das Zahlenverhältnis ist oft annähernd das gleiche wie bei den striata-Ästen. Zuweilen kommen aber doch relativ mehr rosea-Pflanzen vor, gelegentlich entschieden mehr als bei der Nachkommenschaft der striata-Äste desselben Individuums.” (Loc. cit. p. 426.) Moreover the scheme he gives on p. 427 is in accordance with his statement.
