Abstract
An attempt was made to correlate population fluctuations of an isolated population of the citrus psylla,Trioza erytreae (Del Guercio) (Hemiptera: Triozidae), with both the availability of young developing leaves and the saturation deficit index. Citrus psylla population dynamics seems to be governed by more than these two factors. There were significant positive correlations among egg, nymph and adult numbers. Increases in the minimum temperature and minimum relative humidity were followed by increases in the numbers of adults, eggs and nymphs. Seedlings of four citrus cultivars which seem to be less attractive to adult psylla than the other cultivars were identified.
