Polarization effects in proton-proton high-energy scattering.

Summary

High-energy proton-proton scattering is studied in the approximation of the exchange of a few Regge trajectories. The complications due to spin are analysed. Differential cross-sections for polarized beam or target are derived.

Si studia lo scattering protone-protone di alta energia nell’approssimazione dello scambio di poche traiettorie di Regge. Si esaminano le complicazioni dovute allo spin. Si deducono le sezioni d’urto differenziali per fasci o bersagli polarizzati.
