Reduction of the Faddeev equation

  • Published:

Summary

The Faddeev equations are exactly reduced to multichannel two-particle Lippmann-Schwinger-type equations, the kernel of which is the solution of Faddeev equations with two-particle potentials too weak to produce bound states. This suggests a scheme of successive approximations of which the separable approximation is the first.
