Sufficient conditions for static quark confinement a two-dimensional analysis

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

Under the assumption that theSO 2 merons constitute the possible ingredient for confinement, two sufficient conditions for the confinement of the static quarks are derived. Both the derivations use the relationship between the support properties and the analytic behaviour of the Wilson's functional. Finally, implications of the obtained results are discussed.
