Rotational and vibrational analysis of theA 2Π andX 2Σ states of the CN molecule

Summary

Rotational constants for theA 2Π andX 2Σ states of the molecule CN and new vibrational constants for theA 2Σ state are given. By means of these new constants an improved formula for the origins of the bands of the CN red system that fit best the observational results has been derived.

Vengono date le costanti rotazionali degli statiA 2Π eX 2Σ della molecola CN. Vengono poi date nuove costanti vibrazionali per lo statoA 2Π e una formula, migliorata rispetto alle precedenti, per le origini della bande del sistema rosso del CN che meglio approssima i risultati delle osservazioni.
