Abstract
Oscillations of a bimorph plate on top of an elastic half-space have been studied taking account only of plane coordinates. The problem has been reduced to an integral equation of the first kind with a difference kernel with respect to traction. The traction distribution as a function of oscillation frequency, which is needed in calculations of transducer efficiency, has been determined with the help of the method of finite boundary elements.
