The quasi-elastic events of the CERN bubble chamber neutrino experiment and the determination of the axial form factor

A new study is made of the CERN bubble chamber quasielastic neutrino events, with the help of a theoretical estimate of the cross-section for a type of phenomenological event in which the emitted proton is scattered elastically inside the nucleus. A recent estimate of the ν-spectrum makes it possible to use absolute rates for the estimate of the axial form factor parameterM _A.
