On the theory of the 2n-point function for Heisenberg’s nonlinear field

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

In this paper we first develop the theory of the four-point function for Heisenberg’s basic field of matter in its formulation bymeans of Weyl isospinors, thus completing a previous work of one of the authors. Then we extend the formalism to the treatment of the 2n-point function of which we give a spectral representation which displays all the symmetry properties of the fundamental equation. The connection with the (2n2)-point function, which requires certain symmetry properties and regularization integral conditions for the mass spectra, is investigated in detail in the particular casen= 3.
