Generalization of the reciprocal bootstrap mechanism between nucleon and (3, 3) π-N isobar to theSU(3) octet symmetry model

Summary

The existence of a reciprocal bootstrap between baryon resonance decuplet withJ=3/2± and baryon octet withJ=1/2± is investigated in the exactSU(3) symmetry scheme. It is shown that the selfconsistency equations are satisfied approximately if the parameter a, related to thed tof coupling ratio, lies in the range 0.5 ≲ α ≲ 0.8.
