Shanti Jagannathan (India) Development Adviser at the Delegation of the European Commission in India. Her areas of interest include education, training and human rights. She is the author of books on EC-India relations, economic ties between India and the OECD, and the role of NGOs in education in India.

Mervi Karikorpi (Finland) An education management specialist with the European Commission, she has headed the European Commission Education Programme Office in India since 1996. Her areas of interest are communal knowledge building and development of organizational frameworks that sustain knowledge-intensive work.
