Summary
pp and\(\bar pp\) elastic scattering at high energies is discussed in a picture which is a natural extension of the idea of Chou and Yang to include spin, energy dependence and a real part of the diffractive amplitude. The main interest is to study the polarization in the rangep lab ∼ (30 ÷ 200) GeV/c which is or will be available at NAL and the SPS at CERN. A discussion in terms of helicity amplitudes is given.

Si discute lo scattering elastico pp e\(\bar pp\) ad alte energie in una rappresentazione che è un’estensione naturale di quella ideata da Chou e Yang per comprendere lo spin, la dipendenza dall’energia e la parte reale dell’ampiezza di diffrazione. Ciò che più interessa è studiare la polarizzazione nell’intervallop lab ∼ (30 ÷ 200) GeV/c che sarà raggiungibile dal NAL o dall’SPS al CERN. Si discutono i risultati dal punto di vista delle ampiezze di elicità.

Рассматривается упругое рр и\(\bar pp\) рассеяние при высоких знергиях в модели, которая представляет естественное обобшение идеи Чу и Янга, чтобы включить спин, знергетическую эависимость и вешественную часть дифракционной амплитуды. Основной интерес выэывает исследование поляриэации в областиp лаб ∼ (30 ÷ 200) ГзВ/с, которая имеется или будет достигнута в NAL и 8Р8 в ЦЕРНе. Обсуждение проводится в терминах спиральных амплитуд.
