Dispersion relations and experimental data

Summary

A substitute for phenomenological dispersion relations is proposed. The method uses expansion of the scattering amplitude in terms of analytic functions. The convergence and stability of the expansion are ensured by a prior probability measure on the expansion coefficients. The method is applied to the πN scattering amplitudes.
