Stopping power for slow monopoles

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

Stopping power for slow monopoles (β≲0.1) is considered. The effect of electron oscillation is included in the calculation.

The oscillation enhances the stopping power by about 15% compared with the standard results which neglect electron oscillations.
