Summary
The problem of causality violation for particles travelling faster than light is considered in the framework of the absolute synchronization. It is shown that the theory formulated with this synchronization is equivalent to special relativevity if one requires that no privileged observer exists. In this case one has, therefore, the same problems as in the classical theory. On the other hand, if one accepts a privileged system having some physical meaning, faster-than-light particles would not give causality violations of any kind, but the theory would no longer be equivalent to special relativity.
