Summary

Reaction cross-sections have been measured for some rareearth nuclei,i.e.,138Ba,139La,140Ce,141Pr,142Nd(n, p);138Ba,140Ce,141Pr,142Nd,144Sm(n, 2n);138Ba(n, α);138Ba,139La,141Pr(n, γ) by activation with (14.0±0.2) MeV neutrons. The results have been compared with the predictions of approximate formulae based on the statistical model and a good agreement has been found.
