Zusammenfassung
Nochmals Linder. — Linders Handelsthese besagt, daß sich die geographische Verteilung des Handels zwischen den IndustrielÄndern aus der internationalen Integration ihrer nationalen Märkte ergibt. Die Ergebnisse vieler empirischer Tests dieser These sind nicht eindeutig, und die meisten leiden an technischer oder konzeptioneller Fehlspezifikation. In diesem Aufsatz wird Linders These anhand eines Modells getestet, das die räumliche Interaktion nur zwischen den Industrieländern zum Gegenstand hat. Es ergibt sich, daß Linder dann Recht zu haben scheint, wenn der geographische Bereich des Handels auf die wenigen Länder beschränkt wird, die ein sehr hohes Pro-Kopf-Einkommen haben.

Linder, encore une fois. — La thèse de commerce de Linder explique la distribution géographique du commerce entre les pays industriels par l’intégration internationale de leurs marchés nationaux. Les résultats de beaucoup de tests de la thèse de Linder sont ambigus, et la plupart de ces tests souffrent d’une spécification fausse en ce qui concerne la technique et la conception. Dans cette étude on a interprété la thèse de Linder par un modèle d’interaction spatiale seulement entre les pays industriels et on a soumis ce modèle de commerce à un test. Les résultats suggèrent que l’hypothèse de Linder est correcte si le domaine géographique du commerce est limité à ces peu de pays caractérisés par un revenu très élevé mesuré du produit national net par personne.

Linder, otra vez. — La tesis de Linder relacionada al comercio dice que el perfil geográfico del comercio entre países industriales se deriva de la integración internacional de sus mercados nationales. Los resultados de muchos tests de la tesis de Linder son ambiguos, mas la gran mayoría de estos tests sufren de una mal especificación técnica o conceptual. En este trabajo la tesis de Linder es sometida a un test utilizando un modelo de interactión espacial del comercio entre países industriales solamente. Los resultados sugieren que la tesis de Linder es correcta cuando la extensión geográfíca del comercio es limitada a los pocos países con un BIP per capita muy alto.
