Jeffrey H. Cohen is co-chair of Latin American Studies and assistant professor of cultural anthropology at Pennsylvania State University. His research on transnational migration between Oaxaca, Mexico, and the United States focuses on the social impacts of migration and investment of remittances in rural Oaxacan communities.
