Operationsprinzip
Versetzung der medialen Hälfte oder der medialen zwei Drittel des Lig. patellae nach medial auf den Schienbeinkopf; dort Verankerung des abgespaltenen Bandes mit Spongiosaschraube und Zackenkranz auf einem aufgemeißelten Knochenbezirk.
Durchtrennung der zur Patella einstrahlenden Fasern des Tractus iliotibialis sowie des Retinaculum extensorum laterale bis in die Muskulatur des M. vastus lateralis (sog. lateral release).
Versetzung des M. vastus medialis um 1 bis 1,5 cm schräg nach distal lateral auf die Patella.
Raffung des Retinaculum extensorum mediale.
