Abstract
Angiodysplasia of the colon is being recognized more frequently as a common cause for colonic bleeding in the elderly. These lesions can be demonstrated by angiography and by colonoscopy. The pathophysiology, diagnosis, management, and salient features of these lesions are described. The management of three patients is discussed.
