Abstract
The substoichiometric method has been applied to group separation. By a single extraction gold and mercury were separated quantitatively, and copper substoichiometrically, at the same time. Zinc diethyldithiocarbamate has been used as the chelating agent. The group of elements was separated from 2N H2SO4 and 0.1N HClO4 medium. This method of group separation was applied to the activation analysis of biological materials and metallic tin.
