Muonic atoms spectroscopy

Abstract

A review is given of the physics of muonic atoms. The results of spectroscopic experiments on μ atomic systems are discussed. Special emphasis is given to the determination of nuclear charge moments, the nuclear polarization correction, and QED corrections.
