Résumé
La culture du virus de la grasserie a été tentée dans l'embryon de poulct, mais elle n'a pas pu être réalisée par passages successifs.
Après un passage dans l'embryon de poulet, le virus a été inoculé à la chrysalide du ver à soie. Nous avons alors vu apparaître des polyèdres tétragonaux alors que la forme habituelle est hexagonale. Lorsque le virus passé par des chrysalides a été inoculé alternativement aux chenilles et aux chrysalides la forme des polyèdres était hexagonale chez les chenilles et tétragonale chez les chrysalides.
Après des passages alternatifs dans l'embryon de poulet et dans la chrysalide, le virus a été inoculé aux chenilles et aux chrysalides et la forme des polyèdres a été toujours tétragonale aussi bien dans les chenilles que dans les chrysalides.
Par les passages additionnels dans l'embryon de poulet et dans la chrysalide, on a reconnu un phénomène semblable à une variation de virus.
