Summary

Specific gravity, starch content and nitrogen content of potato tubers were determined, The values obtained were used to derive relationships between specific gravity and starch content, and specific gravity and nitrogen content of potato tubers. A linear positive relationship was obtained for specific gravity and starch content, a negative linear relationship for nitrogen content.
