Jim Rogers is a Principal Lecturer in the Intensive English Language Institute at Utah State University where he teaches English as a Second Language (ESL). He taught at the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from 1985–1987 while serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer.
