Zusammenfassung
Während der Wintermonate Mai-August der Jahre 1982 und 1983 wurden in Mittel- und Südargentinien Untersuchungen zur Populationsökologie des dort eingebürgerten europäischen Feldhasen(Lepus europaeus) durchgeführt. Ziel der Arbeit war es, neben einer Beschreibung der unterschiedlichen Lebensräume näher auf die Populationsdynamik (Trächtigkeitsprozente, Mortalitätsfaktoren), Wilddichte und Aktionsraumgröße (Home range) einzugehen und einen Vergleich mit der Situation des Feldhasen in Mitteleuropa zu erarbeiten. Danach wirkten sich besonders die in Argentinien im Gegensatz zu Mitteleuropa verschiedenen Feldbewirtschaftungsprinzipien positiv auf die Besatzdichte des Feldhasen in der Pampa aus, wo mit 100 Hasen/100 ha die größte Wilddichte erreicht wurde.
Summary
During the winter period (May-August) in 1982 and 1983, the population ecology of the European hare(Lepus europaeus) in Argentina was studied in the centre and south of the country. The objective of this study was to compare the living conditions of the hare in Argentina with those of central Europe taking into consideration the different factors of mortality, density, home range area and agricultural systems in both regions. The very special agricultural system in Argentinas humid pampa was found to have the most positive effect on the density, allowing until 100 hares/100 ha.
Résumé
Au cours des mois d'hiver (de mai à août) des années 1982 et 1983, des recherches ont été réalisées en Argentine centrale et méridionale sur la démécologie du Lièvre européen introduit dans ce pays. Le but de ce travail consistait, outre une description des différents habitats, à fournir des précisions sur le taux de gravidité, les facteurs de mortalité, la densité de population et le rayon d'action (home range) de l'espèce et d'établir une comparaison avec la situation du Lièvre européen en Europe centrale. Contrairement à ce qui s'observe en Europe centrale, l'application, en Argentine, des principes d'aménagement en plaine se solda par un effet positif sur la densité de population du Lièvre, au point d'atteindre dans la Pampa la densité record de 100 lièvres aux 100 ha.
