Summary
The new forms are intercasts with male influences in the cuticle structures. In the pharaoh's antMonomorium pharaonis (L.) (Hymenoptera, Formicidæ) we found gynergatandromorphs, ergatogynandromorphs, androgynergatomorphs and androergatogynomorphs. Observations on the biology and behaviour of these forms which can be produced experimentally are included.
